Centrally located between Chicago and Rockford, Marengo Guns is the largest volume firearms retailer in Illinois. Originally founded as a coin and pawn shop in 2008, the store has since expanded into firearms, selling new and used guns, ammunition and accessories both in-store and online. Serving as the flagship business, Marengo Guns ownership also operates other FFLs, including Cranium, a Type 07 FFL specializing in custom GLOCK handguns and Cerakote work, at the same location, as well as Elkhorn Gun Barrel, a retail store in Wisconsin, with plans for additional locations in the future.
