ATF Form 4473 Spanish Version Available for Use as of December 2017

As you are aware, the new ATF Form 4473 took effect in January of this year.  In order for ATF to offer the revised ATF Form 4473 in a Spanish version, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) required that ATF post a notice in the Federal Register for review and comment. This notice is strictly for the already approved Form 4473 to be offered in a Spanish version as a courtesy to Federal firearms licensees with clientele for whom Spanish is their native language.  

NOTE: There were no changes to the January 2017 ATF Form 4473 form.  ATF was merely following procedures necessary to offer a Spanish-language version. Comments are being solicited regarding the offering of a Spanish version and not on the information contained in the form.
