Dakota Arms has announced a whole new form of marketing that just might resonate with consumers.  Confused about the law?  We know where our silencers are legal, and by the way they are “cool.” In a Press Release (dated July 31, 2013), Dakota Arms announced it has received its FFL in Nebraska and will open its newest location in Omaha.  Dakota Arms currently has locations in North and South Dakota. According to the Press Release, Dakota Arms recently conducted a survey and found 92% of Nebraska residents who own a firearm believe that silencers are illegal.  Dakota Arms is taking the position that “Federal law has always allowed silencers, and it’s legal to own silencers in 39 states.”  Dakota Silencer plans to open stores in all 39 states where silencers are legal.
