Shaun Phelan has almost 25 years of experience in operations and marketing positions and has spent the last 14 years at Smith & Wesson. While working in manufacturing, Shaun used his kaizen experience to repeatedly surpass manufacturing targets while meeting and exceeding quality and cost goals.
Later Shaun led the SAP Center of Excellence team during the final phases of a full SAP implementation. Shaun effectively managed on-site, near-shore, and off-shore resources to drive user adoption across four locations.
In his last assignment, Shaun developed the new Sales and Marketing Operations group. The customer-focused group supported brand and sales leaders in driving product awareness across all channels. Shaun drove new efficiencies and cost savings through the implementation of new technology and data-driven decision making.
