Tripper Dickson, CEO Sports South

Mr. Dickson is the fifth generation owner and manager in his family’s two wholesale distribution companies located in Shreveport, Louisiana. The two distribution companies: Morris & Dickson, representing the pharmaceutical industry, and Sports South, representing the shooting sports industry, have been rooted in Shreveport and operated by the family since 1841. Mr. Dickson applied his previous professional experience in investment banking, his drive for continuing the family legacy, and his passion for hunting and the outdoors in operating all facets of Sports South. Mr. Dickson received his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University, summa cum laude in economics and finance and his M.B.A. from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

Regina Lombardo, ATF Acting Deputy Director

Regina “Reggie” Lombardo has been appointed Acting Deputy Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), effective May 1, 2019. Previously, Ms. Lombardo was appointed the 2nd highest ranking official of the ATF in March 2018. As the Associate Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Lombardo was responsible for the day-to-day operations of an agency charged with enforcing laws and regulations related to firearms, explosives, arson, and alcohol and tobacco trafficking. At the time of her appointment, she was serving as the Assistant Director for ATF’s Office of Human Resources and Professional Development where she was responsible for the strategic management of the Bureau’s workforce through recruitment, selection, development, and evaluation programs. A member of the Senior Executive Service and a seasoned law enforcement professional, Ms. Lombardo began her law enforcement career in 1992, as a special agent in the ATF Miami Field Division. Rising through the ranks at ATF, she served in many management positions including Deputy Assistant Director of Field Operations’ Central Region; Special Agent in Charge of the Tampa Field Division: Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the New York Field Division; Chief, ATF’s Leadership Institute; Group Supervisor for the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force in Miami, Florida; and as Assistant ATF Country Attaché in Toronto, Canada. Ms. Lombardo holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and is a member of several organizations which include: Women in Federal Law Enforcement, the National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives, the Florida Sheriffs Association, the International Associations of Chiefs of Police, and Major City Chiefs.

Prior to opening Centennial Gun Club in 2012, he led high-tech corporate turnarounds serving as CEO of public and private companies. Mr. Abramson is a certified firearms instructor in many disciplines including NRA Basic Pistol, Personal Protection in the Home, Personal Protection Outside the Home, Metallic Reloading, Shotshell Reloading, Chief Range Safety Officer. In addition, he is a State of Utah Certified Firearms Instructor, IDPA Safety Officer and Defensive Shotgun Instructor. Abramson has instructed more than 2000 students in Concealed Carry Classes and other firearms instruction. Abramson has served as Chairman of the Sporting Industry P20 Performance Group, and on various boards including the AcuSport Advisory Board, NSSF Retail Advisory Council, Range Growth Advisory Board, Shell Shock Technologies Board of Directors, High Point Manufacturing Advisory Board and the Colorado Firearm Safety Coalition.

He advises clients in day-to-day firearms matters, including ongoing compliance, record keeping, requests for ATF guidance, determinations and variances, ATF notifications, and other matters. Tim Coker

While Mr. Coker is a Jack-of-All-Trades managing the day to day operations, he is also known as a “Provocateur” within the office. Tim is passionate about expanding the growth of Gearfire and he’s happy to tell you all about it…if you have the time. Under his guidance and management, Gearfire has rapidly expanded its dealer base to over 2000 customers and he continues to help drive key initiatives within the Gearfire organization. With more than 30 years of retail sales, distribution, manufacturing and marketing experience, he loves continuing to learn new aspects of the firearms industry. Mr. Coker is a native of Arizona and spends his free time working on “Honey-Do” lists for his wife of 25 years, putting three kids through college, competitive shooting, and volunteering his time with local shooting clubs.

Dan Compeau

Mr. Compeau has more than 30 years of retail experience. He worked as COO/Buyer for the high-volume firearms retail operation Williams Gun Sight Company for more than 25 years. Prior to joining United Sporting Companies Dan severed as Director of Retail Development at AcuSport. Mr. Compeau has worked with over a thousand independent retailers on best practices of inventory management, as retailers work to leverage their POS to take advantage of auto replenishment. He also received a gunsmithing certificate from Colorado School of trades in 1981. He is an avid hunter and angler.

Derek DeBrosse

Tricia Heller

Ms. Heller oversees all IP filings and enforcement action responses, as well as the corporate ethics and compliance programs. Much of her work focuses on the comprehensive implementation of all matters related to government contracts, regulations and legal requirements within the corporate business construct, including the regulatory process analysis, licensing and training. Ms. Heller has served in a similar capacity with another small business. She was a Lt. Colonel in the United States Air Force, a rated instructor pilot, and congressional fellow. Michelle Ingram

Her FFL diagnostics include the regulations, processes, and systems which drive firearm manufacturing (including NFA), firearm engineering and product master data, customer and vendor FFL master data, firearm transfers (via shipping and receiving), firearm loans (per 2010-1) and import / export transactions including the ATF Form 6 / 6a. Carolyn Lane

Ms. Lane is the liaison between IRUNGUNS and the Canadian Firearms Program. She works with the RCMP in maintaining and expanding the FRT database as well as organizing the data transfer for firearm importations into Canada. She supervises the filing of permits with the U.S. Department of State and maintains IRUNGUNS databases for both the U.S. and Canadian Customs. Ms. Lane also oversees IRUNGUNS E-Commerce websites, ensures database integrity, and export compliance. She became involved in the firearms community in 2015 after meeting and eventually marrying Jason Lane.

IRUNGUNS has grown over the last 7 years to become an industry leader in E-commerce, Export Compliance, and moving Defense Products between borders. Sky Mayhew

Philip Milks

Mr. Milks runs the Regulatory Services at Orchid Advisors and operates Orchid Law, PLLC. He was formerly employed by Remington Outdoor Company (ROC) and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF). While at Remington, Mr. Milks served his executive peers as the leader of ROCs corporate compliance function which included ATF, Import, and Export (ITAR and EAR). He played a key role in advising ROC and its subcontract manufacturers in the development of ammunition, suppressors, polymer pistols, modern sporting rifles, and imported shotguns. Mr. Milks has extensive experience in facilitating the acquisition of manufacturing entities, the move of major manufacturing facilities and integrating regulatory technology into clients’ manufacturing systems. He has had numerous professional interactions with national and local ATF leadership and responded to a multitude of high volume serial number ATF inspections.

Bill Napier

Mr. Napier has more than 30 years of experience in retail loss prevention, passionately serving others in leadership roles such as site manager, corporate manager and director. He has worked with small and growing retail chains as well as Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Napier has also been in the retail outdoor arena for more than 18 years with responsibility for ATF compliance and firearms-related investigations. He is a guest speaker for groups such as the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s (NSSF’s) SHOT Show, National Retail Federation (NRF), Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA), Retail Technology (RETECH), ASIS International and The Loss Prevention Foundation. His byline and name have appeared in various retail-related magazine articles on such topics as emerging security technology, return fraud, physical security and leadership. Additionally, Mr. Napier spent 20 years in municipal law enforcement. He currently volunteers as a hunter education instructor in Nebraska, serves on the ASIS Retail Loss Prevention Council as a member of its Critical Infrastructure Working Group, is a member of The Loss Prevention Research Council at University of Florida’s Violent Crime Working Group, and he sits on the Board of Directors for The Loss Prevention Foundation. He is Loss Prevention Certified (LPC).

Robin Oke

Robin Oke has earned a reputation in the industry for getting things done. The Shreveport-based company’s e-commerce volume has tripled during his tenure, and he continues to diligently drive initiatives in both e-commerce and national accounts. Mr. Oke’s 14 years of sales experience plus time spent in the Marine Corps and a love for shooting sports, made joining the Sports South team a natural transition. Robin and his wife make their home in New Hampshire where he enjoys shooting, hunting, traveling, and riding his Harley.

John Phillips

Mr. Phillips became a part of the federal drug enforcement efforts as a member of the U.S. Government’s Specialized Operations Group after college. He continued to build on his law enforcement career with over 24 years of federal instruction, consulting and providing specialized training to various law enforcement and military units across the U.S. under the Poway Weapons & Gear Range umbrella. Mr. Phillips founded and continues to pilot, ArchAngel Inc., a private security firm focused on security consultation and executive protection for A-list celebrities and some of the Forbes list “Richest People in the World”. He also founded Satellite Security Systems, a GPS technology solutions company that directly supported law enforcement and Homeland Security efforts. Mr. Phillips holds various law enforcement, instructor, security and regulatory certifications. He is a member of the FBI’s Infraguard.org, the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA), Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association, National Tactical Officers Association, and a National Rifle Association Law Enforcement Instructor. He serves as a AcuSport Retail Advisory Board member and as a National Shooting Sport Foundation Range Advisory Council Member.

Gary Ramey

Mr. Ramey brings more than 30 years of experience to the Firearms Industry. He has an extensive marketing background across several outdoor industry product categories, including handguns, long guns, optics, apparel and accessories. His experience includes Beretta USA as well as founding Honor Defense firearms, one of the fastest growing handgun companies in the USA. In addition, he was a competitor early in his career and worked for USA Shooting. Mr. Ramey has been a guest speaker at Forbes Magazine Marketing Conference and the NG International Marketing Conference. He is also a graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy of Atlanta and sits on the Board of Directors for a major holster company. He has an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh PA, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami, FL and a Six Sigma belt from Villanova.

Jon Rydberg

Mr. Rydberg oversees the operations of three privately held business entities in the outdoor sporting goods industry, Retail Technology Group, Orchid Advisors and Gearfire Payments. Currently, he is spearheading the development of omni-channel technologies that will improve industry-wide connectivity between suppliers and consumers. Over the last ten years, he has been active in M&A and funding in the public and private equity sectors. Mr. Rydberg is an expert in supply chain management, and regulated business operations and technology. He led the development of $50M+ ERP implementations and is now focused on launching an integrated Point of Sale / eCommerce solution for the Shooting Sports industry. He is the founder of the largest regulated firearms consulting firm and the Firearms Industry Compliance Conference. Steve Salka

Mr. Salka has been with Traditions Performance Firearms for the past 9 years. He began his career as Warehouse Manager and has moved up to Operations and Compliance Manager. He is the liaison with Orchid Advisors and currently manages the compliance programs that incorporate ATF regulations into company procedures. Prior to Traditions Performance Firearms, he was employed in the transportation and warehousing industry.

Andy Scott

Mr. Scott has more than 20 years of overall experience in the retail and customer service industries. He has filled various roles throughout his tenure at RTG, starting in technical support, moving into implementation and training, and eventually, into sales. His extensive implementation and training experience in POS and Retail Management Software allows for a consultative approach to identifying retailer needs throughout the sales process, ensuring that RTG solutions are meeting their objectives.

Mr. Seaverns is one of the original employees and now serves as CEO for Gearfire. Under his management, Gearfire consistently achieves year-over-year growth, expanding its customer base by 50% or more each year. Mr. Seavern’s influence extends throughout all areas of the organization including strategic planning, corporate management, product development, technology deployment and customer operations. Mr. Seaverns holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Prior to joining Gearfire, he worked in real estate and founded what would eventually become the country’s largest independent video disc repair operation.

Matt Steckelberg

Mr. Steckelberg has worked in retail for the past twenty years with companies such as Scheels All Sports, 84 Lumber Company, Advantage Sales and Marketing (GlaxoSmithKline & Del Monte Foods), and HR Block. He started working for RTG eight years ago in Technical Support and Training, and now manages the design of RTG’s AXIS and V6 programs. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Business from Saint Cloud State University, along with an Associate of Applied Science degree in IT and Network Administration from Rasmussen College. Mr. Steckelberg became an Eagle Scout at 15 years old. When not spending time with his wife and three girls, he can be found hunting and fishing in the Minnesota woods.

Brandon Thompson

With 20 years of IT experience, Mr. Thompson has a wide range of expertise within eCommerce and a deep understanding of technology challenges associated with Multi-channel Marketing, eCommerce Operations, Fulfillment, and Customer Service. He has spent the last 8 years in the Outdoor Sporting Goods and Firearms Industries. Mr. Thompson is the former Senior Director of Software Development for The Sportsman’s Guide.

Matt Trask

Mr. Trask is an attorney licensed to practice in state and federal court in both Massachusetts and New York. He concentrates his time, efforts and experience in firearms law and regulatory compliance for the firearms industry. He was instrumental in the implementation of a highly successful comprehensive compliance program in Remington’s Ilion, New York facility. Prior to employment with Remington,Mr. Trask focused his legal practice on the protection of 2nd Amendment liberties and served as counsel to firearms owners, manufacturers and dealers in matters pertaining to BATFE compliance, criminal defense, state and federal firearms law compliance and is an instructor on the law of self- defense and state and federal firearms laws. Working closely with private clients and firearms rights groups. He litigated firearms licensing, asset forfeiture and criminal defense matters in state and federal court. Mr. Trask formerly served in the United States Marine Corps as an encrypted communications materials manager, responsible for the accountability of communications assets and compliance with national security regulations pertaining to the handling of classified hardware, and coordinated the deployment of encrypted communications networks in support of infantry operations.

Alexis Tunell

Ms. Tunell led the federal ATF and state firearms compliance function for EZCORP, Inc., the nation’s second largest and publicly traded pawn lender with over 700 retail locations across North America, including more than 350 FFLs. She has an extensive background in retail firearm operations, retail store security, retail Point of Sales and electronic 4473 / A&D book development. She is recognized nationally by regulatory agencies and was an NSSF-chosen speaker at the 2017 SHOT Show University.

Doug VanderWoude

Mr. VanderWoude has over 35 years of firearms industry experience. He is the Founder of the Silver Bullet Firearms Indoor Range & Training Center and started the first ever range development program. Mr. VanderWoude is an NSSF Range Committee Member and a Charter member of first P20 firearms group. He has increased the profitability of hundreds of shooting ranges over the years. He has been a previous speaker at the NRA Range Development Conference and SHOT Show University.

Camden Webb

Mr. Webb leads the firm’s Firearms Industry Practice Group, offering advice and representation to members of the firearms industry, including manufacturers, retailers, government contractors, and others. His practical approach and experience help industry members navigate this highly complex area of the law, including issues under the National Firearms Act, the Gun Control Act of 1968, and state gun laws. Mr. Webb is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and he helped found the Eastern District of North Carolina Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, serving as its founding president. Before joining Williams Mullen, he was a U.S. Army officer. He earned his Juris Doctor degree, with honors, from the University of North Carolina School of Law.

Carlie Winegar

Ms. Winegar has been with GLOCK since 2011 overseeing all sectors of international operations between the US and Austrian headquarters, including export licensing and compliance, international sales exports, temporary imports for testing and evaluation of new product, and temporary exports. Her department manages all aspects of international sales from the point of sales inception through licensing, planning, manufacturing, and delivery at the foreign end user. She enjoys being able to combine the challenging field of export compliance with her love of the shooting industry and outdoor sports.

Jordan Young

Mr. Young brings more than 18 years of experience as a firearms industry executive to Orchid Advisors, having held management positions at major U.S. and international firearm manufacturers and importers, including Remington Arms Company, Para-Ordnance and Dasan U.S.A. He has an extensive background in firearms and ammunition import and export permitting and licensing, international trade logistics and international business development and commercial activity. Susan Zidek

Ms. Zidek is an experienced attorney and business advisor with integrity, a strong work ethic, and a record of successfully representing clients on legal, strategic, and operational matters. Ms. Zidek serves on TROY’s Management Team and leads the legal, compliance, risk management, security, and human resources functions of the company. Prior to joining TROY, she served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for a government contracting company. In that role, she was Secretary to the Board and served on the company’s Executive Committee. She managed the Legal, Contracts & Procurement, Security, and Internal Audit Departments and chaired the Risk Management and Audit Committees. Before moving to the in-house legal position, Ms. Zidek engaged in the private practice of law for 14 years, primarily representing businesses on a full range of business disputes and labor and employment matters.
