ATF Letter on eForms Processing
On April 16, 2014 the ATF issued a letter on its eForms progress. The letter details the significant increase in transaction volume arising from consumer demand and associated form processing requirements. The most significant volume increase relates to NFA Form 3 and Form 4 requests. To alleviate the issue, the ATF has acquired and deployed many new resources that should reduce the backlog as statistics already show. Effective immediately, Form 6 and 6A processing will be made available through the eForms tool with Forms 1, 2, 5, 9, 5300.11 and 10 to follow shortly thereafter.
